What makes our range of traditional sash window so special?

Sash windows are one of the most desired window types for home owners and when you see a house with beautiful sash windows, it’s easy to see why.

Timber sash windows have traditionally been made with vertical “mortice and tenoned” joints for hundreds of years and have that authentic style that you know and love. Our traditional range of sash windows are made the replicate this style perfectly and the grained, textured wood foil gives the perfect finish – in fact when our customers first see the finish they can’t believe it’s not real wood. So you get the style and feel of a wooden window frame without the maintenance.

How do you replicate wooden sash windows?

A number of different factors will contribute to the energy efficiency of a window. At Three Counties we use Pilkington glass as standard because we know that we are using a trusted product that will improve the efficiency of your home.

As we mentioned, our sliding sash windows are made with grain textured acrylic so you don’t need to have any concern about that shiny white plastic finish. We offer a number of elegant collections for your sliding sash windows including Bygone Melody, Harmony and Symphony, they are all made with beautiful textured wood grain acrylic foil and can be finished in any RAL or Farrow and Ball colour. Our particular sash window colours include antique cream, green or classic black frames with white sashes.

What makes our sash windows so elegant?

Sash windows are created by two sliding sashes each retaining a double-glazed, sealed unit. In most cases, the window will be “split” equally in height so the visible glass will be the same height in each unit. Aesthetically, however, it’s important to have clean vertical lines that run through the upper and lower sashes. You’ll want the bars to align and the Georgian squares to be of equal size.

It’s important your sliding sash windows are all made to correct proportions. Irrespective of which collection you chose, all Bygone sash windows can be designed to ensure sightlines align and panes within the same window are equal if specified.

Can I arrange a design consultation?

If you want to find out more about our stunning sliding sash windows then arrange a free design consultation. You will be able to see the sliding sash window frames up close and in real life so you can see the wood grain effect for yourself. You will also be able to ask any questions you might have and get some advice from an expert. Pop into our friendly Camberley showroom or arrange a home visit and one of our experts will be happy to help.

We recently decided to replace our front door, and could not be happier with the result! Thanks so much to Kate, for her time and understanding. Cannot say enough good things about the installation, and Cameron was tidy and efficient. It's been a pleasure to work with Three Counties recently, doors and windows. Many thanks!

Just had my tatty old windows replaced by Three Counties, and it’s been a highly professional job from start to finish. Communication from the administration team was prompt and courteous at all times, and installation ended up being much quicker than advertised projections. Installation was without issue and the lads who did the work were amenable to my requirements and did an excellent job. Very happy with the entire process. Three Counties were recommended to me by friends and I can certainly now recommend them to others.

We have just had all our windows (18) replaced, french doors (20 and side panels (2) by Three Counties. We could not be more pleased with their workmanship and the finished product. They left the property incredibly clean after each day, and this despite the messy nature of ripping out old windows and frames. We were kept informed at each stage and a minor snagging issue was resolved promptly and efficiently after installation. A first class service. We would not hesitate to recommend Three Counties.

Three Counties have now installed several windows and doors on our house and they're always my go-to company. I used another before I discovered them and they let me down, but I absolutely cannot fault Three Counties. From the moment you contact them they're courteous and professional, and they keep in touch with timescales and installation times. Friendly installers too, who go above and beyond. You'd think all this great service would cost more but they beat other companies on price. Highly recommended and trusted, I'd never go anywhere else now.
